Trey Walters, P.E.President, Principal Consultant, and ASME Fellow
In 1993, Mr. Walters founded Applied Flow Technology (AFT) after previously working with Babcock & Wilcox in Ohio and General Dynamics in California. At AFT, he was the lead developer for the software tools AFT Fathom, AFT Arrow and AFT Impulse and has been heavily involved in the development of all other AFT software tools brought to market. For Purple Mountain, Mr. Walters has utilized his fundamental understanding of fluid dynamics, performing and managing many consulting projects in the areas of fluid and thermal system modeling. Example projects include a cooling water system flow analysis, benchmarking at a pharmaceutical plant and a waterhammer analysis at a refined product tank farm.
Mr. Walters has both M.S. and B.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at Santa Barbara and is a Registered P.E. in the state of California.
